Title: What's Lafarge Lake like?
Post by: LukeYVR on June 04, 2004, 04:45:48 PM
Anyone fishing at Lafarge Lake at Coquitlam?

The Fish Wiz. says, 3600 catchable rainbows stocked this year.

Is this lake dirty?

Great little lake, fished it lots when I was younger, never went home without catching a trout. Fish leeches, spratleys etc. Carp in there as well, never caught one but have seen some bruisers cruising while spawning. If fishing bait, fish off the bottom. Good Luck Luke.

was there yesterday for a walk, many people fishing, just not catching.I would not fish where the walkway is, maybe the far shore or in a dingy, most guys where using single eggs or spinners.

There is a little bay on the south end.  Fish there.  Use dragons and leaches.
