After a great run of luck, I suddenly came back to earth with a bump. Skunked >:( having sneaked off early from work to get in a few hours fishing.
I fished roe at the North Arm a couple of hours either side of high tide but didn't get a bite. The good news was that the coarse fish haven't really shown up in numbers yet so there's still time to get a bull trout or two. There were some splashes around that proved they were there - just didn't like my roe.
