Title: questions about steelhead

Is a steelhead considered a salmon or an ocean going trout?  and how can you tell the difference between a trout and a steely smolt? thanks for any help

you bet i'm bored! playing fishing games and hearing about people fishing is no substitute for actually fishing. ;D ::) oh well maybe next week ;)
