I remember when Salo played for Ottawa.
The games during that time between Ottawa against the Canadians & Leafs were always very very very physical.
Hard hits stick work elbows & fights.
Salo really went thru war during that time.
Maybe that is why he was injury prone during his time with the Canucks.
He was banged up so much in previous years.
Guess he retired or ?
Canucks in Chicago & it should be one heck of a game.
During the anthem the fans go nuts...stand & clap & the singer really belts the song out.
Very lively fans & a hostle building for visiting teams.
Makes our Vancouver fans look like they were bused in from senior homes.
Prediction ...Chicago 5 & Canucks lucky to get 2. ;D
Game is on tv, so put your rod away early, or do your walk now in the sun.
Think the game starts around 5 or 6 pm.

Salo is in the land of gators sun fun oranges beaches fishing poison snakes & NHL hockey.
Seen tonight's sports report & there was Salo in a Tampa Bay Lightning uniform.
TB won over TO 4-2.
Hawks over Canucks 4-3 .
Vancouver had a big let down in the 2nd period.
Good game.
Hawks just keep getting pts.

You're correct. Sami is reunited with Mathias Ohlund.

Ya your right ,a lot of forwards were in all alone on the stopper.
Hawks have great skaters & tempo.
Very skilled team.
Better play makers than the Canucks.
Canucks Ws mainly come by out working the other team.
Sadly Ohlund career may be over.
Very serious knee problem.
Major surgery.
He was a gamer in the aprox 9-10 yrs he played with the Canucks.
