4 “ Hardy Super Silex, spins like a top with no wobble and has a bright finish (not Dural) that appears original. Stamped PW inside for maker Percy Walsh, who worked at Hardy Bros from 1920-1954. Straight lettering on the back indicating circa 1940. Original brass reel foot has been replaced professionally to fit modern reel seats. This reel is in excellent condition and very pretty. $500.00 firm
And, a Hardy Marquis disc, size 9-10-11 with box, pouch and papers, brand new. Comes with SA 9-10 mid belly spey and a mile of backing. $275.00 obo. I am in Chilliwack but will ship at your cost.

Did a bit more looking at this Super and I found the letter H stamped near Percy's intials, meaning this reel is most likely made of Hidluminum, an alloy like Dural, making this reel considerably rarer and is the reason for the polished finish.
Still $500 firm.
