Title: Tunkwa Lake Trip
Post by: Normfish on May 18, 2004, 07:26:09 AM
Came home Sunday with 15 nice trout . All 1 and a half to 2 and a half pounds. Let all fish under a pound go.
Released about 35 fish. Some were 8 inches.
All caught trolling pots and pans. No feather tossing here.
Fly guys didn't seem to be doing that well. But that's fishing.
Great weather, and always some wind there.
Great lake for a family trip and kids chance at their first Trout. ;D

Don't worry about where it is guys!  The rain has washed it out and someone from down south caught all the fish!  It is a tiny lake anyway and cant handle more than two or three boats trolling at a time.  Then you have to deal with the cattle, the mosquitos and snags, lots of logs.  If it was me I would stay down on the coast and fish the fraser or the cap!  Nothing up here! ;)

Nah,  never fish it!  No one goes there anymore because it is too crowded!   :o ;)
