Go Hastings Go! (my former coach is still there coaching these kids)
Hastings rolled through their district, the provincials and through the Canadian Champions to be representing our country in Williamsport PA in the World Outstanding effort to battle out a win against the Mexicans, with some STELLAR defence and clutch hitting. This catch is being heralded as the best catch all time in the LLWS;

Tough loss today against Panama, their pitchers were dealing.
Hastings Little League goes up against the Caribbean squad tomorrow at 11am on TSN2.

I hope Hastings goes far. :) To bad it is a rigged tournament though..
This series is rigged in favour of the Americans and set up so an American team is always in a final. If it was a true world series each of the 9 participating countries would have ONE TEAM each not everyone having ONE TEAM each while the USA gets to have EIGHT TEAMS as it is now...It is a form of cheating really if you ask me. Either one team for all or 8 teams for all.

I understand that. But at the same time, the US has more leagues playing organized ball under the rules of Little League Baseball than the rest of the world, combined.
And it is their tournement. Canada has never advanced to a final anyway, so its kind of moot.

Canada has never won the World Series but have made it to the finals once.
