It was quite an event the other night.
Streak & flash lightning storm.
Some of the loud thunder bangs actually rattled our house :o
Heard two people were hit but survived.
Sadly a note taped on a pole at Blundel Shopping Centre asked for people to be on the lookout for their 12 yr old little dog.
Note said that the dog is so so loved by it's owners.
Reward etc. This doggie ran out of an openned dr & just ran away
Pets can get so freaked out by the loud thunder that a dog may run for many kms/miles.
In a lightning storm about 5 yrs ago I seen a German Shepard running wildly down our street.
So if ya have a dog please be careful & tie it with a rope or just be careful when openning the front or back door of your home during a storm.

My dog totally freaked out and stayed by my side all evening

Ya dogs and cats do not take loud bangs very litely. Same thing with halloween with all the fireworks. My dog Bandit was throwing a fit everytime the thunder hit.
