Title: No parking signs
Post by: oddjob on August 08, 2012, 09:33:50 AM
The west side of the Stave [below the dam ] has new no parking signs every 50 feet apart . These signs start from the dam and going way down , looks like finding a parking space will be very hard and with a long walk .

The west side had no parking signs from the dam down to past the trailer park for several years. The river side road shoulder is considered a crosswalk for the locals.
Are the signs further downriver now? In the past they didn't really stop many people from parking and getting towed.

There is still lots of people parking there anyways despite the signs during salmon season.  May be they should open up the residential parking during salmon season :)

On top of the No Parking for most of the West side, and fencing put in around the new parking lot at the top of that road just before the dam,
The road over the Ruskin dam is closed, The Ruskin recreation area and parking lot is closed for construction as is the road from there down to Keystone rd for parking.
2012 to 2018

If you don't mind walking a little bit, you might have a lot of room to fish  ;D
