Title: sturgeon spots in mission

does anybody know decent  spots around mission to fish for sturgeon ?  the dock down by the boatlaunch is usually a gongshow with 5 or 6 guys crossing their lines all the time. everything else seems to be flooded. any advice ? thanks harry

The docks at the boat launch are your best bet

Go for a walk in the nice sunny warm weather, make sure you bring your rod and go find yourself some deep water amd call this spot that you found on your own spot amd call it your own

Make sure you bring a bunch of extra weights and gear. There are a couple few snags in the mighty Fraser. Shore fishing can be tough especially with faster current. If your lead bounces down river at all, odds are it will find a snag pretty quick. Heavier weights can help but they are also more expensive and harder to cast. If you explore enough there are some honey holes out there.  I would wait for the water to drop, and if you fish the tidal river check it out at low tide.

Agreed sturge rod is hanging  until the freshet buggers off
