Title: Hatchery Chinook

Chinook: generally no, however I understand that some may be adipose clipped for research/stock assessment purposes to indicate that they are carry a tag.

Harvest of chum and chinook is not permitted by a clipped adipose, as it is for coho.

Post by: colin6101 on May 28, 2012, 11:55:15 PM: I believe he was saying that the adipose does not need to be clipped to harvest where allowed unless specifically stated (like the Little Campbell, where it says the chinook have to be hatchery).

I knew it was an awkward sentence when I wrote it. I mulled for a few minutes how to make it clearer, and then just gave up :)
