Title: STS Fraser River May 9th report
Post by: RA40 on May 10, 2012, 06:52:01 AM
Wow, what a great day on the Fraser , 19 fish in 6 hours, 2 over 7ft. Fish are fat and hungry right now so this weekend would be a great time to get out.
The Fraser has dropped 16 inches in the past 36 hours but we do expect it to rise again in the next few days as warmer interior temperatures will start to get that snow melting.

Vancouver and Gulf Island salmon fishing has been excellent, mostly Gulf islands, fish have been between 12 to 20 lbs on average. Our boats are moored at the Delta Airport Hotel so it is only a short ride and your on your way to the Gulf. High winds the past few days have made fishing a bit more difficult but it should settle down by the weekend.
