Title: Crab Trap Question
Post by: Fish Assassin on March 14, 2012, 08:42:09 PM
I have a rectangular crab trap with 2 entrances measuring 9" x 4". Both entrances do not have a gate, thus crabs can come and leave freely as they pleased. Do I still need to install a rot cord so cptured crabs can escape if I lose the trap ? Seems redundant to me

Thanks. The trap came with no doors. Crabs have problems getting in.
