Title: Fishing Regs Question - Fishing Times
Post by: DanJohn on March 10, 2012, 07:54:55 PM
I could have SWORN I read in the regs, or somewhere that fishing Non-Tidal was limited to 1 hour before Sunrise, and 1 hour after Sunset. I cannot find anything in the Regs. Have looked twice, and just wanted to be sure on the rules in this area. Thanks

The daylight hours only regulation only applies to certain streams when fishing for salmon. Scroll down the table to see individual system where this rule applies (Chilliwack River, Fraser River...):

they put that regulation in because some sockeye fisherman on the fraser were fishing all night in the dark. of course when your flossing, it doesnt matter if its light or dark, youll hook fish.
