Title: Float Tube

Thinking about getting a float tube for alpine lakes  (hiking in), anybody have any recommendations?

I would recommend the u-boat style over the typical round doughnut style.

So much easier to get in and out of. Instead of having to step into it and then pull up and put fins on, you just sit down into it.

If you can afford it, look at this one,

http://www.outcastboats.com/outcast/products/default.aspx?id=1 (http://www.outcastboats.com/outcast/products/default.aspx?id=1)

Only 7lbs, and has a capacity of 300lbs.

Runs about $350
