Title: Lost Rod and Reel (Logging Rd after Tamahi Bridge)
Post by: Animal Chin on February 03, 2012, 03:19:43 PM
 :'(

Lost rod and reel today Fri. Feb 3rd around 1 pm.

St. Croix rod with a Abu Garcia Black Max. Did the lean rod against car and drove away blunder. Should be on the side of the logging road that one gets onto by taking an immediate right after Tamahi Bridge (past the campsites).

Crossing my fingers... I hadn't even caught anything with it yet...sniff sniff.

Thanks.

Around what time do you think you lost it there? I was driving around 1pm all the way to the end and I didn't notice it.

It was around 1 pm, maybe 1:30. I got as far as Fred's when I realized what I did, hightailed it back thinking it would still be there seeing as it wasn't a high traffic area, but no dice.

I was about 300 yards (I could see it) from the gate at the end of the road.

Hopefully the fish god's will be kind.

I just posted up the information on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/fishingwithrod) and will also mention it in the Lower Mainland fishing report when I update it on Monday.
