Title: salmon meat taste/quality rank

for me, haven't taste chum yet, but the others:

1. sockeye
2. coho
3. atlantic salmon
3. chinook
4. pink
5. chum (I guess it's here anyway :-[)

I would say I like Coho the best, then Sockeye, Red Springs. All the others I find taste nearly the same and probably couldn't tell the difference

I'd have to agree, fresh Coho is fantastic, with Sockeye being a close second.
