Is there any solution for this other than replacing the guide? It isn't the tip, so I'm not took anxious to take on a replacement.

You can buy a replacement guide for a few dollars and then whip it on in less than 5 minutes-what's the problem?

Sorry about this late reply but were you able to get this fixed ???? If not let me know very easy repair and I am sure we can get you fixed right up. If you are not in our neck of he woods I can guide you through the process or get you to someone that can do the repair.
