Post by: fic on August 26, 2011, 07:07:03 AM: Yeah, Cable pool is kind of nuts to be fishing from any raft. It might be worth while to take your inflatable to the river mouth at Ambleside beach. With the water level so low, the fish is staging near the mouth of the river instead of moving into the river.

Have you guys seen the guy who goes boogie boarding down The river in high water? That guy is nuts, but he works for search and rescue so im sure he knows what he's doing.

Yes looks like a lot of fun!
He also has a wetsuit and helmet as well as experience.

There was a guy snorkeling for lures the other day as well. I can imagine the riches of lures in some of the meatholes around here.
