Anyone fished steelhead in this river, is it worth venturing out too, if i was in port alberni anyway.

I do a lot of winter spring fishing out of Poets Nook and have yet to see anyone fishing the river in the winter. It may be worth a shot.

try it a couple days after theres high water, could be some really good fishing, as someone else said its not busy so the fish wont be pressured and more willing to take your offering.
