I like the Lindeman shot...  It's such a pretty lake with the area around the shore being a disaster :(

Artistically, I agree. Most of my "Lake photos" have anglers or boats in them because they are fishing related. It is much different when you are trying photogenic pictures. Then you look for cloud formations and dramatic lighting... along with good composition.

That looks like a very nice lake.  Never even heard of it before.  Googled it and it's popular for scuba diving and labeled as the "Caribbean of BC"

Yes - that's the one! Clear waters and white marl. I never fished it, but we had a great time there and met new friends while staying at Johnson lake resort. Rowed a lot around little Johnson letting the dog sight/point fish - great memories and cute rustic cabins. :)

Nice pics Leadbelly.  I think those are the two only remaining local lakes I haven't hiked to.  Always hear stories about cars getting broken into.  Did you fish at all or just hike it?  Also did you park by the gun club or did you take the trail from Quarry Road?

I went up from Quarry road, seems ok there just very dusty.
I didnt fish, just hiked and geocached

Munro lake or the pond part of it that the trail comes out on, was full of trout i think, feeding hard on damselflies. Tried to get an action shot but no luck
