p.s. your yellow is a bit over saturated in that shot. The top blows out. Lovely river sunset though, and you've done well to capture the feeling.

No editing done... that's the way they came out. I have started using underwater mode for sunset pics... really brings out the colours.

I really wanted to take some better quality photos, so I bought a canon G10 this summer. So far, I'm finding it really challenging to use it beyond it's point and shoot capabilities, but you get a few pretty good ones with every hundred you take. I was working at a remote exploration camp in Alaska this summer. Here are a few shots of the view from my tent. I found it really interesting that the scenery would change quite dramatically from day to day.
