That's one of the worst feelings in the world - lots of fish, no rod.

Nice pictures, nothing beats the tranquility of being at any body of water near the end of a warm day. Especially with no wind blowing, the sun slowly setting in the West horizon, fish breaking the glass like water surface and wildlife settling in for the night.

Priceless to me.

This is why i always keep a collapsible rod hidden  in the car with some tackle.
It is always better to have a rod and not need it than to need a rod and not have one.

word of wisdom..

Normally my rods are in my car when I am driving around Richmond. ;) Once I was driving along and saw pink salmon creeping up with the tide, stopped, jumped out of car with rod, and caught and released one on the first cast before making my way to my destination. ;D My rods are currently packed away for a trip next week. :)
