Title: Ling cod rods

Would a 10 ft Trophy XL med-heavy (bar fishing) or a regular halibut/sturgeon set up work for ling-cod? I'm trying some ocean fishing next week but trying to use what I have!

Ya, should be fine, the ling cod dont care what kind of a rod u r using!
