Title: alouette lake?

anybody know if gate is open at alouette lake. also wonderin when  could a person fish for kokanee, too early yet? feeling the need to get boat in water.

dont know about the gate but kawkawas kokanee are rockin' right now so alouette's should be too :)

The lake is open but the last I herd the dock is not in yet. I believe it is April 1st but Bronswick would know for sure.

I hit the lake Feb 27th, flat calm seen no risers. Did get some hits deep (about 40') on a lake troll and worm, nothing landed!

Kawkawa allways turns on before Allouette.
few more weeks yet before it gets going.

anybody know if the far parking lot past gold creek bridge is open? There is some nice silver rainbows in the gold greek but not to sure if the conditions would be any good this time of the year

Docks get put up in May. Kokanee fishing will get good in April on Alouette

hey guys thanks. i've heard in the past that there are certain flys that kokanee will take, i've tried what i had and only caught rainbow- zero kok's. any idea what and where to buy? cheers, i can almost hear the cry of a lonely ungava .

I have had good success in the past with red spratleys....im sure others have their 'secrect patters'

Support the local fly shops and you will get the right fly ;)
