Title: Steelhead Tube and Intruder fliees
Post by: younggun on November 16, 2007, 12:47:23 AM
Anybody have any tube flies or intruders tied up that they could show me? Just getting into the tube and intruder style of tying and want to see what most flies look like and their make up. Any web sites or your own patterns would be great, thankyou

very nice, what material are u tying those with? I've gone crazy with the alaskabou series, marabou is my best friend, but now i'm experimenting more and more. I like rabbit fur for my wet flies too. I wanna try chikabou, schaplen, wetfly hackle. My dry flies are good though, favourite are the thompson river rat, moose turd, bomber. (i think i like deer hair ;D) i've got the small patterns pretty much down pat. skykomish sunrise, polar shrimp, skunk, freight train. Now i wanna try intuders, "GP's" for sure and maybe speys.
