Title: Volunteers needed at 2007 Rice Lake Family Fishing Day
Post by: Rodney on May 15, 2007, 11:23:43 AM
The Seymour Salmonid Society will once again be hostings its Rice Lake Family Fishing Day on Father's Day (June 17th). The event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The trout hatchery will stock the lake in the morning, families will be able to fish on the pier throughout the event. There will be various activities around the pier for everyone to participate.

I will most likely be running a booth at the event, but not sure exactly what activity I would like to run yet. It will be something fish species related as usual.

Volunteers are needed. Duties include set-up, rigging up fishing rods, untangling lines, baiting, assisting those who don't know how to fish, etc.

James Weger is the event coordinator and can be reached at 604.640.9690 or seymoursalmonidvolunteer@hotmail.com.
