Well it wouldn't surprise me if he did win the derby,i can tell you that my odds of winning have just taken a beating ,i should come in around at 30-1 due to the fact i will be partnered up with Big steel,lol ;D ;D

It is pretty tough for searun to put the searun curse on himself. And it is almost impossible to put a curse on searun. Just when you think he is cursed he allways manages to pull a steely out. It really gets annoying ;D ;D ;D .

You should be alright. The secret is not sharing you secret bait with BigSteel. If you dont allow him to fish what you have that should take care of the Big Steel curse. Dont know how to get rid of the jinx though LOL

I am just hoping that we get at least one fish between all of us !!! It looks like the Weather is going to cooperate and the conditions should be favourable, that combined with the high water we have had as of late may mean a great looking river full of Steel !! cross fingers :) I just really hope that this is a success and all that we have a good turnout, would be nice if we could make this an annual event ;D ;D ;D

Yep, I'd definitely say Chris is a strong favourite. Experience will get you every time but funny thing about steelheading, it's a little like
Bingo. You may have everything you need to win but if your number does'nt come up then you get to hear another player scream that fortuitous word. STEELY. It should be a really great time and I am looking forward to seeing a bunch of new faces and new friends at this hopefully yearly event. Weather's looking good and I think I may just head up the way and pump me up some fresh bugs. See you all there. :D

well I think searun, guppy and bigsteel's odds have just gotten better as I have just finished tying up some of my special jigs for them ;D ;D ;D . I think they be in 2nd ,3rd , and 4th right behind Chris.
