Title: Alouette Main River and Alouette Lake...
Post by: jettabambino on October 29, 2006, 10:51:42 PM
My apologies if this is a small system that i shouldnt be drawing attention to........But i have a few questions.... A family member has just moved into maple ridge and today i went over to take a look at the house.  We crossed the Alouette Main something or other... It basically looked like a river....and then i saw signs of Alouette Lake............... so of course the juices start to flow... and as I lay in my bed now and realize that my fishing regs are in the garage I wonder.... Hows the fishing in these systems....Any good?  Firstly with the river..... any salmon... does anyone know if i can even fish itin this region.....

and the lake... whats the scoop.. any fish.. do i need a boat.....

Thanks...

ps if you feel more comfortable pming or emailing me please go ahead... thanks

Lots of sea runs? Not like thier used to be. I dont know when you fished it last but most cutties that I get are in the 10-14'' range. I think the last season I may have landed 2 - 3 sea runs way down from say 3 years ago.
