Title: Getting websites onto search engines????

Looking for some help, if anyone has the knowledge on getting a new website onto the search engines it would be greatly appreciated.  If you would be interested in trading services or if you want some cash, things can be arranged.  I have recently started a part time guiding company and have had no success getting my website onto the search engines.
