Could do - with 4 days off you coming back into town at all, or staying out in Abby?  I have some PTO and with rain it could be like the days of old.   ;D

I don't know dude I think 40 is more than 25 and I think you might be on to something with your "rain make water go higher" hypothesis but I am no hydrologist!

Let me know when you find out I am quite interested

i will be at the canal tommorow first light

So for you eager folks to not waste your time and gas - I strongly urge you all to check out the gov't water levels site for chilliwack vedder crossing - it is updated within hours and gives you an accurate idea of water levels.

It's now about 1.82 meters which is crazy low and really needs to be over 2.4 meters (which is a LOT of rain - almost 2 feet) to get things flowing (others can chime in on their openions on heights). Last year when it was crazy low things did not happen until end of september.

So here's thelink...and go thru the site to check chilliwact river - vedder crossing.

good luck

I always use the government web site to check on water levels. It will give you an iddication on what to use before you even hit the water. That is if you know what low water and high water is on the scale. Just checked it a little while ago and it is sitting at around 1.89m and rising. That is still low but at least it is rising.

I don't think the fish care, right now there moving in. The higher tides right now help as well. Pity I'm going to Alberta or I'd be out there all week. Lots of action.
