For all those that would like to play Fantasy hockey there is a second league started up!!!!!!

twelve teams are welcome ... lets get er going
everyone entering will put in a $10 fishing related item and winner takes all

nice and simple
and as commisioner of this league any further changes will be voted on by all teams

So am I allowed in? Suggestion though. We should make this a head to head league instead to change it up from the other league to make things interesting. That way you will just get wins,losses and ties. Also maing for some rivalries and more smack talk when going against one another. ;D

Yes you are allowed in !! the draft isn't until Monday night so lets see what everyone else has to say about going head to head.. sounds kinda fun to me !!!

I like the head to head actually as it means people are going to really talk some smack and will have bragging rights against each other untill they meet again.

I see the league is going with .25 points per shot ... shall we use the same rules in tyhis league??

I personally feel a goal should be worth more than an assist or a shot on goal. i would set it at:
Goal: 2pt
Assist: 1pt
PPG/A: 1pt
SHG/A: 2pt
SOG: .25pt
+/- : 1pt
Win: 5pt
SO: 10pt

Arent you going to have some bench players? We need them for when a player is not playing on a day the starters are playing. Maybe 1 bench player per position and 2 for defensemen?

Injured Reserve (IR): 1

six bench players and one injured reserve

well I feel that the majority should rule, I don't mind what the points are set at as long as once they are agreed upon they stay that way.. so everyone let me know what their preference is and I will make the changes before draft day !!

Sign up for a yahoo email account. It is easy. Once you have your account, you can add your team to the League. If you use the link, you will have to go to home in the yop left hand corner of the page, click it and it will bring you to another page, on this page at the top it will say "time to face off". Click on that and you will be in the next page, you want to "Join existing custom or public league". Click on that, then click on join a custom league.
The League ID and password will come up, that is where you enter 47393 for the id and vedder for the password. Then just name your team, pic a helmut and you have a team. You can edit your player ranking if you like. But remember the draft is Monday at 8 pm. Be there about 10 min before this. :)

i dont understand if the leagues heads up and you have a team in both pools what does that mean...

Ok guys looks like I screwed up somehow and the draft got set to auto draft, looks like we are gonna get whoever we get, sorry about that, we are going to have to trade amongst ourselves to build our own teams.. again I appologize

Well, the Auto Drafting sucks!! But it isn't all that bad I guess!! I get to do what I like to do and that is TRADE< TRADE< TRADE!!!! ;D ;D

I am not chicken, look at the trades I have been able to produce!! I have one maybe 2 player left that I would trade, make me a decent offer and we will go from there!! Do recall you rejecting some I sent you!! You make an offer this time!! ;)

Same here, kinda ruins a lot of my planning. Oh well, guess we're all at an equal disadvantage, now it comes down to who has the best manging skills.

I am sure it wil be just fine, you can make trades and still build your team, it says it will be within 72 hours that the draft will take place, I am sorry that I had it set up wrong !!

Only RW's you have that I'd be interested in are Bert and Hejduk and it seems as though Hejduk is already spoken for.
