Title: New video clips in August! Bass and Sea Lion!!!

Subscribers, as promised, we've put together over 20 minutes of video (divided into four clips) that were captured during our trip to St Mary's Lake this year! :) Lots of fighting scenes, some explanations on how to fish for them (Chrome Mykiss should be credited for fine tuning this technique ;) ). Nina should be credited for some excellent filming style. I'll try not to mumble as often in the future. ;D Enjoy!

Best way to watch the video clips is to download them to your computer by right click on the link, select "save as..." and view after the entire file is on your computer, instead of downloading it while you watch in the media player (semi-streaming, which may have interruptions).

Thanks for the credit on the technique :)  I guess all those hours of watching Bill Dance, Hank Parker, Fish Fishburn, Bob Izumi and Bassmasters does come in handy  ;D

Nice release technique!!!! LOL What is the line rating on the rod you were using? I use a 4-10lb but am considering getting a tiny 1-4lb rod like Roe Kid bought recently.

The rod rating is 2 to 6lb, really soft. The reel is Shimano Twin Power 2500. The line is 6lb test Maxima Ultragreen. My favorite setup so far. Any lighter than that can be tiring I think, but not impossible.
