Title: Parking lots @ Cap Hatchery - What time does it open?

Would like anyones input on what time the parking lot for Cable Pool and Upper Capilano opens in the morning.  I saw on the website that GVRD says 8 am.  Is this true and if so, anywhere else to park up there if ones wants to get in earlier?

I have never seen that gate closed...and that includes many trips in at first light.

Couple of years ago two RCMP officers were kicking people out for fishing prior to 0800 hours.
