Title: NFR - Hummingbird rescue
Post by: DragonSpeed on July 04, 2006, 07:19:54 AM
I was up at Brandywine Meadows' Snowmobile hut yesterday, and there were 3 hummingbirds on the inside, trying desperately to get out through the glass window.  There was already one dead, but I gently cradled the other three, carried them out of the building and let them free outside.  I've never held a hummingbird in my hand before.  VERY cool!  Click on the photo to see it full size.

Yeah they are, I would have made flies out of it.

If it's not a fish, I tend to like 'em alive :)
