Title: feb.8 a great sunny vedder day
Post by: golfnut23 on February 09, 2006, 07:56:51 PM
didn't start fishing till late about 2-2:30 in the afternoon, hit a few spots and then settled into a nice piece of water, my uncle was fishing this hole and decide to move down river, i thought i would try my luck. First cast with a roe sack, the Steele jumped out of the main run and grabbed the sack, to my surprise i saw the thing dart out right after it. Unfortunate i missed the hit and it vanished into the run. I casted the sack about 6 more times and nothing, switched up to a Jensen egg and white wool and baaaaaaam first cast, fish on. about 5 minuted later i had a 12pound doe on shore, and it's a hatch. Ive only been steel heading a hand full of times but im hooked after today. :)
