Title: First ever Steelhead !!! Jan22/06

We started at Lickman at 6:40am the parking lot already had 5 cars there,we decided to go up and find our spot before first light.We started fishing around 7:15am tried a variety of things to no avail then as a couple of guys started to show up so we decided we should move on so i tried a roe bag and white wool combo and wouldn't you know it 7 casts later FISH ON!!!,after a couple of big jumps and a 5 minute battle on the centerpin 12.5lb hatchery on the beach.We tried a few other spots so my buddy could try and get one but no such luck.It was too bad i did not have my camera with me of course not that is when i would actually get one,what a great day.

got out today and hooked into 2 lost the first one and killed a 10.5lb doe, my bro also got a wild one, while weighing mine another guy brought in a 13lber.

Well done on the steelhead! im still waiting on the first. >:(
