Was out today on the Vedder from 7-1 and the water was in fishable shape, but on the high side. Fished from The cossing to lickman and not even a nibble, everyone i talked to said they hadnt heard of any caught today. But I have to say there was alot of people fishing today! the derby must have convinced them to get out. Oh yeah forgot to mention I left just as the rain started to kick in again ;D

Yeah I agree

My girlfriend and I ventured out to the chehalis around noon, water was low and clear. Fished around the hatchery but wasnt really enough water so we hiked down to the main channel, saw the odd clean fish rocket by but no takers. Was still a fun day on the river breaking in my new pin setup, only fish caught was an old coho my girlfriend hooked on a bluefox.

was out today with my dad, fishkind,knucklebuster/master baiter, and my dad's girlfirend's dad. fished lower river just above lickman and across the river near the campground. first cast, i put on a jensen egg and peach wool tie-up, cast, drift and BAM! bottom? no im fishing short and its quite deep. so i cast and cast and didnt bump anything the rest of the day. 1 hour before we left, my dad moves to the middle of the run and casts. BAM! drennan goes down but missed it. Reels up and finds that yes it was a fish. the pink worm below the hook was a quarter gone :o :D. but that was it for the day.
i think i saw you Big Fisher across the river. And i also saw Chrome Mykiss.
Coho Cody ;)

I also went out today. I had to go for brunch with my grandma so I got off to a really late start. Oh well, at least the river wasn't very busy by the time I got there. I only saw 2 other anglers all day and they were both on the opposite side of the river. Was fishing mid river with a 4 inch rubber worm. Just before dark my float goes down and fish on. For its sixe it didn't fight very hard and within a few short minutes I brought the wild buck to hands. Quick photo and back into the river. Unfortunatly, the rain was coming down quite hard and the flash reflected off of the rain. Oh well. Here's the pic anyways.

Fished with Dan the Man today. Started around 11:00AM. First time out, so spent a lot of time scouting the river, and sharing some steelheading insights with Dan. We scouted out Yarrow section of the river, then moved up to Wilson Rd., then some mid river pools. Nothing much happening for us, and didn't see any one hooking fish. Some one reported that 5 steelies were hooked behind On the Way section. Well, not our day though. Hope next time will be better. River was a bit high, and began to colour up slowly towards late afternoon when rain picked up. Tight line.

nice pin cody ;)

Yeah I saw you to cody on the other side with 4 other people and eventually seen chrome myskiss work his way down river. lucky you touched one.

got to the river earlier than I had expected, checked a couple of my old haunts but they were being worked quite hard, decided to fish some pockets with a couple of old timers :D not much success , just as I was about to change my offering and very close into the bank my luck changed, rewarded with a nice bright doe of about 5-6 lbs wild therefore sent on her way again without much fuss.water was high and fast vis not much more than a foot.
