Checked river conditions at 8:00 am and found the river to be totally blowen out. Water levels are even higher than yesterday with some logs and small debris on the move. Enjoy your time at home and forget about that elusive Steelhead for a couple of days. Merry Xmas !

Thanks Buck, pretty much what we expected at this point!! :( ;)

Your just saying that to keep the river all to yourself ;D ::). JK, thanks for the heads up.

Finally, the rain let up, poured all night till eleven this morning. Theres no way the River is gonna look nice for the derby. :)

Foget the derby, maybe next year? :-\

I'm getting conflicting reports, some say the chehalis area is raining right now, others say it isn't. Can anyone confirm or deny either ?
I'm seriously looking at going tomorrow, it may be blown, but we've all seen this river drop quickly.

There are fish in the river despite the high water. You just need where to find them. It's not as if they all returned to the Fraser waiting for the Vedder to drop.
