That was taken last January from the bird sanctuary in Ladner.

Probably the same ones that terrorized Nina and I last July. :o

thought  those were the Rifles birds     I've had them attack me once too   

Theres tons of huge carp in the slues at Rifles, I tried fishing for them once ( I was asked to leave) hahaha

You can also see them up pitt river by the rock quarry (supposedly, as I have never seen one there).  I saw a bunch of those things when I was just outside of yellowknife this summer.  They look like weirdo emus or something when you aren't expecting to see them.
