Title: For a change - Buntzen
Post by: WestEast on November 19, 2005, 07:42:12 PM
Floated in Buntzen for a few hours - brrrrrr. And sorry to report.... nothing. Was using fly tackle - deep sink, burgundy leech, green damsel, mosquito.... not a twitch. Spoke to a few others - same story.

fished the whole day at lafarge lake...same story..not a single bite to anyone...even the bullheads are not there to take their favorite baits worms/shrimp  ::)

Just amazed how these lakes have become empty after just 3 weeks of the stocking even in such cold weather...given that they have not received the heavy fishing pressure of summer

I had the same result at our local lake. Maybe the colder weather has shut them up a little. I usually get a strike/hour, but this weekend was slow for everybody.
