though i was not there, here is my friends brief report.
fished upper river from 2:30pm to last light. Lot's of semi clean chums, lot's of boot chums and red coho but 3 clean fish were hooked, 1 slightly colored male wild coho, peach/pink/red wool tie, 1 shiny bright hatchery doe that was self released at the shoreline and a nice bright 8/9 lbs hatchery doe taken on a float drifted blade. OH boy her roe is gorgeous, I'm just finishing curing it up for steelhead. So, 2 guys, 3 hours, they came home happy anyways.
