An absolutely beautiful day to be out on the river. Instead of fishing my usual haunts I decided to do some bushwacking this afternoon. Came across a beautiful pool that was full of cohos, albeit mostly coloured but there were some fairly chrome ones also. I hit one on my 3rd cast on chum roe but alass I was too slow on the hookset. :'( After that I tried blades, jigs, and spoons to no avail. Saw a handful of anglers out but none reported any success. Will try again tomorrow, hopefully with better luck.

Water is low and crystal clear this morning. Spent about 30 mins before heading on to the the Squamish. Had one hit on a silver spinner and that was it. A fair number of carcasses about.
