A few suggestions, cohoslayer1:

-  Watch for fish rising (around the bridge area and just downstream)
-  A slow retrieve
-  Visibility is important, ie. if its rained hard, visibility may be an issue (Norrish Cr. might be an option - 5 mins. away)
-  Play the high tide (the high at Dewdney is about 4 hrs. after Pt. Atkinson), then 2 hrs. before and after high is prime time
-  Early morning/evening high tides are the best
-  Gold crocs w/ orange stripes seem to work best

Above all else, be patient  ;D .

If you've got a boat, then I'd be on the lookout for fish rising.  They seem to like showing themselves in the Dewdney.  I don't think they hold there though, and if they do its not for long, so 'have gun will travel' is your best approach.  I guess that's why those with boats are always on the move.  In fact, before I start fishing there, I usually drive around a bit to see if I can spot a fish or two surfacing.  At this time of year, there should always be fish surfacing around high tide, at least.  Only problem is, they may not be Coho, but instead Chums.
