Dont know the size I prefer as often I choose my spinner blade size and colour to match a specific water condition and the target species.

Do you use an indiana blade in a swivel spinner or are you talking inline spinners?

Just curious of where there are places where you can buy the materials needed to make your own blades and spinner?

Practically any tackle shops. All you need is spinner blades swivels and split rings.

Gooey...I use Indianas on a split ring    I've never used in-line spinners under a float .. I always liked the simple look of split ring blades

I fish inlines as well as spoons from time to time under a float when I really want to slow down my presentation

Size 4 french blades for spinning in Tidal Fraser River. Silver is excellent for fall coho, gold is fantastic for spring bull trout. :)

Size 3 when fishing in local rivers.

Size 2 for rainbow trout in local lakes.

I'll be trying some size 6's for northern pike this winter after being criticized by a few Danish locals for using small blades for pikes. ;D

Berry's Bait and Tackle carries assorted items for making inline spinners.

The other day I was at Reaction Fly and Tackle (http://www.reactionbaits.com), Terry has these tiny inline blades made up that I think will be fantastic for cutthroat trout. :D He also has some inline spinner components, some that I have never seen before actually. :o
