On the other hand, what they put that poor soul through for a laugh wasn't very nice, hmmm (eh)?  I wonder what sort of parallel hoax might be played on those of us who take fish seriously and how funny we'd think that was.

You've got a point, but I'm guessing that he agreed to have the footage used, after he was aprised of the situation, so it appears he took it alright.  I'm sure they have footage of certain attempts that never made it live due to release, and legal issues.

It WAS funny, but you're right...humour at other's expense isn't exactly the most sophisticated  ::), but look at today's society :(

well, I laughed too, but I kind of felt sorry for that guy.  From what I could tell, the rat creature was pretty convincing.
