Title: Lower Mainland lake stocking information October 17th
Post by: Rodney on October 17, 2005, 01:33:16 AM
For those who are interested, especially for parents who are looking for activities to entertain their kids during the teachers strike:

The Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery is stocking Trout (in town), Mill and Sardis Lakes with brood fish (approx:2-8 pounds) this week. These brood fish are mostly ones that we've spawned in the last couple of weeks so they're not in the best condition but most people are just excited to see trout of that size.

Thanks to the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC (http://www.gofishbc.com/) once again.
