I am going to Kawkawa Lake for some fishing.
My targets are:
trolling for trout.
trolling/jigging for kokenee.
fly fishing for trout.
Anybody been here? What should I use? This will be my first lake trip with the boat. And, my first fly fishing in BC. Any help would be very helpful!
Thanks,
BOB

Never fished there before but some good standbies would be a red butt spratley, bunny leaches and muddlers.

Kawkawa has plenty of small fish. This time of year, make sure you have some micro leeches in your flybox...black/maroon, and olives. Good luck.

In my VERY short flyfishing career, my standby has developed as the black or red Doc Spratley.

When you launch head of to the left and look for the house that is actually a train caboose and fish the rock bluff just to the right of it.
