I was thinking of heading out to Richmond tonight to catch the high tide . I'm curious to hear if things have improved from the last few days.. Both nights have been disappointing ..
Hopefully I'll hear something positive ...

My suggestion is go. You never know. By the time someone post a report, it will be dark.

I ventured out for a bit this evening after picking up Ross UK from the airport, he had a blast at the Langara Fishing Lodge, more on that later. :)
Bumped into Scruffy, Pierboy, Perch and his dad. Perch's dad apparently hooked three and landed one just before I arrived. I then went to another spot and saw chrome mykiss' dad fishing. Lucky was also there, a bit further downstream. I asked CM's dad if he had any luck, he said no but they were jumping.
I proceeded to make a cast from the top of the dyke, and slowly made my way down the rocks. Once I was halfway down, a fish hit it hard and I was into one on my first cast. ;D I looked down, CM's dad was looking up with disbelief, and shaking his head. ;D The fish came in fairly fast. Once it surfaced, I saw that it was a chrome female pink. I gave the hook a couple of shake and the fish was on her way up the Fraser, didn't plan to keep any fish today. :)
I made about 10 more casts after that. Had a couple more hits, but nothing too significant. Lucky hooked into a fish as well during that time. :)
Not as many fish, but enough to keep you occupied if you fish hard.

i went from 12 - 2pm this afternoon. Very few fins showed up... Went home to rest. Then was supposed to catch the peak of high tide later. Unfortuneatly I fell asleep. lol.
Oh, I've heard that the fish bite quite a bit just before and during a full moon. But once that passes, they seem to be a bit more quiet. Anyone know if that is true? I think today is full moon?
