got there 6:30 am, left 12:00 . Hooked three sockeye and released, one pink. My friend landed a chum . some other people landed two springs, not very big, less than 20 lbs . It is not crowd now.

Bar fishing works well as dose bb 3 or 2 ounce betties work well if you have boat avoid the peg go to harrison river mouth bar lots of room just as productive limit out all the time there. just down from peg on the main channel.Not many snags either.

There is a bar fishing place at pegleg, just go to the upstream, the water is slow, nobody would go there BB

As for the springs - would these be whites or reds?

I can't tell, from the size, it seems to be red, but in this month there should not be red spring.

when you say up stream , do umean on the car side of the river or the boat side, if you know what I mean?? ???

the best set up i found for springs there is a 3oz betty and a 5-8 foot leader ;)
